27-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash On I-84, CT State Police Say

Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses to a two-vehicle crash that killed a young man.

Hartford County resident Blake Burrows, age 27, of Manchester, was killed around 7:59 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, on I-84 westbound in East Hartford.

According to state police, Burrows, who was driving a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, was following a tractor-trailer on the highway, when for some reason he struck the back of the truck. 

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, Burrows died at the scene, state police said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene to due disabling damage.

The case remains under investigation.
